Recap: Chicago WSox vs. LA Angels

Glendale, AZ (Sports Network) - Eduardo Escobar hit a two-run single in the eighth inning to help the Chicago White Sox take a 9-7 win over the LA Angels on Wednesday.

Adam Dunn hit a two-run home run while Brent Lillibridge went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored for the White Sox. Chris Sale gave up five runs on seven hits over 4 1/3 innings in the start.

Albert Pujols hit a three-run and solo home run while Howie Kendrick added a two-run shot and three RBI for the Angels. Ervin Santana lasted just 1 1/3 innings, giving up one run and one hit with one walk and two strikeouts.

Bill Elliott, a former Sprint Cup Series champion, and Wendell Scott, the first African-American to win a race in NASCAR's premier racing circuit, were among the sixth five-member class inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame on Friday night.
