Recap: Colorado vs. LA Angels

Scottsdale, AZ (Sports Network) - Chris Nelson's RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning pushed the Colorado Rockies to a 4-3 victory over the Angels in spring training action on Monday.

Andrew Brown belted a solo home run in the eighth and Brandon Wood tied the game with a sacrifice fly in the ninth for the Rockies. Juan Nicasio went five innings in the start, giving up three runs on five hits with four strikeouts.

Howard Kendrick accounted for all three Angels' runs with his three-run blast in the third as Ervin Santana went four scoreless innings in the start, allowing just two hits and one walk while punching out four.
