Recap: LA Angels vs. Kansas City

Tempe, AZ (Sports Network) - Howie Kendrick had two hits and drove in three runs as the Los Angeles Angels defeated the Kansas City Royals, 7-4, in spring training action.

Chris Iannetta had a double to go with two runs batted in and a run scored for Los Angeles. Starter Jered Weaver allowed four runs on nine hits and one walk in 4 2/3 innings.

Lorenzo Cain smacked a two-run home run for the Royals. Starter Danny Duffy gave up six runs -- five earned -- on 10 hits and one walk in 3 1/3 innings.
