Recap: LA Angels vs. Chicago Cubs

Tempe, AZ (Sports Network) - Jeff Baker's three-run homer in the eighth inning helped the Cubs pull away from the Angels, 8-1, in spring training play.

Starlin Castro had two hits and drove in a run for Chicago, while starter Chris Rusin threw 5 1/3 innings of two-hit shutout ball for the win.

Jered Weaver was touched for three runs on eight hits in his six-inning start for the Angels, whose only run came on Maicer Izturis' homer in the eighth.
