Recap: Seattle vs. Oakland

Peoria, AZ (Sports Network) - Jonny Gomes and Jemile Weeks each hit a two-run home run as Oakland downed Seattle, 9-2, in Cactus League action.

Eric Sogard went 2-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored for the Athletics. Tyson Ross gave up a run and two walks in just one inning in the start.

Carlos Peguero had a hit, RBI and a run scored for the Mariners. Hector Noesi pitched two innings in the start, giving up two walks and striking out two.
