Peoria, AZ (Sports Network) - Munenori Kawasaki drove in three runs to help the Seattle Mariners to a 13-7 win over the San Diego Padres.

Dustin Ackley went 3-for-3 with two runs scored while Brendan Ryan and Luis Rodriguez each drove in two runs for the Mariners. Hisashi Iwakuma (1-0) got the win in the start, pitching just one inning and giving up one unearned run.

Jason Hagerty hit a two-run triple and Jaff Decker hit a solo home run for the Padres. Dustin Moseley (0-1) gave up two runs and two hits over two innings of starting action.
