Recap: Chicago WSox vs. Seattle

Glendale, AZ (Sports Network) - Eduardo Escobar hit a three-run home run to lift the Chicago White Sox to a 5-0 win over the Seattle Mariners in Cactus League action.

Brent Lillibridge scored twice while Alex Rios had two hits and an RBI for the White Sox. Jake Peavy pitched five shutout innings in the start, issuing just one walk with five strikeouts.

Alex Liddi's double was one of two hits for the Mariners. Blake Beavan gave up a run on three hits over four innings.

Broncos' Clady tears ACL

Peyton Manning will have to make do without his blind-side protector for the 2015 season, as the Denver Broncos announced that Pro Bowl left tackle Ryan Clady tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during Wednesday's OTA session.

Indians put Santana on paternity list

The Cleveland Indians will be without first baseman Carlos Santana for at least part of their weekend series with the Seattle Mariners due to the birth of his daughter.
