Recap: Seattle vs. Colorado

Peoria, AZ (Sports Network) - Sunday's Cactus League contest between the Seattle Mariners and Colorado Rockies was cancelled due to rain in the fifth inning.

The rain came in the top of the fifth inning after the Mariners took the lead on Kyle Seager's two-run home run and Chone Figgins' RBI single.

Hector Noesi allowed two runs on four hits and two walks in four-plus innings for Seattle.

Tim Wheeler had a sacrifice fly and Jordan Pacheco scored on a wild pitch to supply the offense for Colorado. Tyler Chatwood allowed three runs on seven hits and three walks in 3 2/3 innings for the Rockies.

James Madison has opted out of a scheduled game at Liberty on Sept. 26 to play FBS opponent SMU, but the two FCS programs have agreed to seek future scheduling opportunities.
