Recap: Tampa Bay vs. Baltimore

Port Charlotte, FL (Sports Network) - Ryan Flaherty collected two hits, including a two-run triple in the eighth inning as the Baltimore Orioles opened their Grapefruit League docket with a 3-1 win over the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday.

Joe Mahoney picked up a pair of hits and scored a run, while Matt Antonelli also had a pair of hits for the Orioles.

Alfredo Simon got the start and gave up one hit while striking out two in two innings of work.

Jeff Salazar, Ben Zobrist and Stephen Vogt all had a hit for the Rays. Wade Davis made the start for the Rays and yielded one hit over two innings.
