Recap: Atlanta vs. Baltimore

Lake Buena Vista, FL (Sports Network) - Manny Machado followed L.J. Hoes' leadoff ground-rule double with an RBI single, sparking a two-run eighth inning as the Baltimore Orioles rallied to tie the Atlanta Braves, 2-2, in spring training Sunday.

The Orioles scored their second run off Jonny Venters on an error, knotting the game.

Atlanta had chances to win the contest in the bottom of the 10th after Luis Durango reached on an error to lead off the frame. He then stole second base and went to third on Jordan Parraz's bunt.

But he was thrown out when first baseman Jeff Larish fired to home plate on Tyler Pastornicky's fielder's choice. J.C. Boscan hit a ground-rule double, moving Pastornicky to third, but Kyle Simon retired Ernesto Mejia on a ground ball to end the game.
