Tampa, FL (Sports Network) - Freddy Garcia pitched three scoreless innings to lift the New York Yankees to a 3-0 win over the Atlanta Braves in spring training action.

Garcia gave up just one hit and one walk while striking out two. Robinson Cano, Nick Swisher and Melky Mesa each drove in a run in the win.

Julio Teheran allowed one run on three hits in three innings for the Braves. Brandon Hicks' double was the lone extra-base hit for Atlanta.
