Recap: Toronto vs. NY Yankees

Dunedin, FL (Sports Network) - Edwin Encarnacion hit a three-run home run and a solo shot to lift the Toronto Blue Jays to a 7-5 win over the New York Yankees in Grapefruit League play.

J.P. Arencibia drove in two runs while Brett Lawrie added two hits and a run scored for the Blue Jays. Henderson Alvarez gave up a run on four hits over three innings in the start.

DeWayne Wise and Doug Bernier each drove in two runs for the Yankees, who also got two hits and an RBI from Curtis Granderson.

New York starter Freddy Garcia left the game in the fourth inning after getting hit in the right hand by a ball hit by Encarnacion. Precautionary X- rays came back negative. He gave up two runs on four hits before exiting.
