Recap: Washington vs. NY Yankees

Viera, FL (Sports Network) - Bill Hall and Jose Gil each drove in two runs to lead the New York Yankees to an 8-5 win over the Washington Nationals in spring training action.

Justin Maxwell had two hits, an RBI and a run scored and J.R. Murphy and Zoilo Almonte each drove in a run for the Yankees. Michael Pineda gave up two runs on four hits in 3 2/3 innings of starting work.

Chad Tracy had two hits and two runs scored while Steve Lombardozzi had two hits, an RBI and a run scored for the Nationals. Chien-Ming Wang gave up just two hits with four strikeouts over 2 2/3 innings in the start.
