Recap: Tampa Bay vs. NY Yankees

Port Charlotte, FL (Sports Network) - Gustavo Molina's two-run home run in the ninth inning lifted the New York Yankees over the Tampa Bay Rays, 5-2, in spring training action.

Starter Phil Hughes allowed two runs on three hits and one walk in five innings for the Yankees. Cole Garner had a double and scored two runs.

Matt Joyce hit a two-run homer for Tampa Bay, which saw Burke Badenhop throw two shutout innings.
