Recap: Boston vs. NY Yankees

Fort Myers, FL (Sports Network) - Jason Repko laid down a suicide squeeze in the bottom of the ninth to bring the Red Sox even, as Boston and the Yankees played to a 4-4 tie in spring training action on Thursday.

The Red Sox had a shot to win the game with a runner on third and two outs in the ninth, but Pedro Ciriaco struck out swinging to end the game.

Ciriaco and Lars Anderson each had an RBI double in a three-run eighth inning for the Red Sox, while Nate Spears knocked in the other run on a single. Aaron Cook went four innings in the start, allowing two runs on four hits with two strikeouts.

Curtis Granderson sparked the New York offense with an RBI triple in the fourth and Doug Bernier finished with two hits and two RBI. Adam Warren pitched four scoreless innings of two-hit ball with three strikeouts for the Yankees.
