Recap: Detroit vs. NY Yankees

Lakeland, FL (Sports Network) - Dewayne Wise smacked a go-ahead two-run double in the top of the 10th inning, lifting the New York Yankees past the Detroit Tigers, 4-2, in spring training action.

Raul Ibanez hit a two-run home run in the seventh inning for New York, which got 4 1/3 innings of no-run ball from starter Freddy Garcia. He allowed just one hit while striking out four.

Detroit scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth to send the game into an extra frame.

Audy Ciriaco smacked a home run and Danny Worth's sacrifice fly tied the game.

Starter Max Scherzer allowed two runs on three hits while striking out eight in seven innings.
