Recap: NY Mets vs. NY Yankees

Port St. Lucie, FL (Sports Network) - Ike Davis' home run in the bottom of the ninth inning lifted the Mets over the Yankees, 7-6, in spring training action.

Davis finished with two RBI, while Daniel Murphy, David Wright, Lucas Duda and Josh Thole had two hits and an RBI apiece for the Mets.

Mets starter Mike Pelfrey allowed a run on two hits and struck out five through four innings.

Nick Swisher went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, while Doug Bernier also had a pair of hits and knocked in a run for the Yankees.

Ivan Nova got the start for the Yankees and gave up five runs on eight hits and two walks in 2 2/3 innings.
