Recap: Toronto vs. Atlanta

Dunedin, FL (Sports Network) - Brett Lawrie went 3-for-3 with an RBI double and a run scored as the Toronto Blue Jays took down the Atlanta Braves, 9-5, in Grapefruit League action on Sunday.

Jonathan Diaz ripped an RBI triple, while J.P. Arencibia, Colby Rasmus, Eric Thames, Jose Bautista and Omar Vizquel all drove in runs for the Blue Jays. Ricky Romero got the start for Toronto and pitched three scoreless innings while yielding just one hit and striking out four.

Christian Bethancourt finished with three hits and two runs scored and Eric Hinske clubbed a two-run homer, while Jason Heyward, Evan Gattis and Elmer Reyes knocked in runs for the Braves. Sean Gilmartin started for Atlanta and gave up two hits while fanning three in two scoreless innings.
