Recap: Tampa Bay vs. Toronto

Port Charlotte, FL (Sports Network) - Yan Gomes ripped a three-run double as part of a four-run ninth inning, and the Toronto Blue Jays topped the Tampa Bay Rays, 7-5, in Grapefruit League play on Friday.

Edwin Encarnacion clubbed a solo home run, while David Cooper, Brian Bocock, and Brian Jeroloman all knocked in runs for the Blue Jays. Starter Brett Cecil gave up four runs on four hits while walking five in 2 2/3 innings.

Evan Longoria went 1-for-4 with two RBI and Jeff Keppinger, Ben Zobrist and Jeff Salazar also drove home runs for the Rays. David Price yielded two runs on five hits while fanning five in 5 1/3 innings of work.
