Recap: Boston vs. Boston College

Fort Myers, FL (Sports Network) - Mike Aviles and Juan Carlos Linares each drove in two runs as the Boston Red Sox defeated Boston College, 6-3, in preseason play.

Alexander Edward Hassan drove in one and scored once, while Ryan Lavarnway added two hits and two runs scored for the Red Sox. Starter Felix Doubront pitched two scoreless innings for the win.

Andrew Lawrence had two RBI for the Eagles. Steve Green was tagged for four runs -- three earned -- and five walks with two hits over two innings.

I really do try my best not to hate anyone, seeing as how that word can be thrown around rather easily, which is why it was so tough watching the Florida State-Louisville game on Thursday night.
