Recap: St. Louis vs. Boston

Jupiter, FL (Sports Network) - Shane Robinson and Matt Adams knocked in three runs apiece as the St. Louis Cardinals used a six-run burst in the bottom of the eighth to down the Boston Red Sox, 9-3, in exhibition play on Thursday.

Jaime Garcia struck out four and did not allow a hit in a two-inning start for the Cardinals. Mitchell Boggs picked up the win despite yielding a three-run triple to Jose Iglesias in the top of the frame.

Josh Beckett allowed two hits in three scoreless innings for the Red Sox.

James Madison-Liberty game off in 2015

James Madison has opted out of a scheduled game at Liberty on Sept. 26 to play FBS opponent SMU, but the two FCS programs have agreed to seek future scheduling opportunities.
