Recap: Boston vs. St. Louis

Fort Myers, FL (Sports Network) - Shane Robinson hit a three-run triple in the eighth inning to help the St. Louis Cardinals take a 9-6 win over the Boston Red Sox in Grapefruit League play.

Matt Adams hit a solo home run while Matt Carpenter scored three times for the Cardinals. Kyle Lohse gave up three runs on six hits with four strikeouts over 3 2/3 innings in the start.

Darnell McDonald hit a two-run home run and Dustin Pedroia added a solo home run for the Red Sox. Alfredo Aceves gave up just one run on three hits over four innings of work in the start.
