Desmond Jennings had two of the Rays four hits, while Bryan Augenstein allowed one hit and struck out three through three innings out of the bullpen.

Francisco Liriano fanned five batters in three scoreless innings for Minnesota in a game that saw neither team record an extra-base hit.
