Recap: Tampa Bay vs. Minnesota

Port Charlotte, FL (Sports Network) - Cody Rogers hit a two-out, two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning to help Tampa Bay salvage a 6-6 tie with Minnesota in Grapefruit League play.

Luke Hughes homered in the top of the ninth to give the Twins a 6-4 edge, while Danny Valencia finished 3-for-4 with a solo homer and three RBI.

Francisco Liriano gave up seven hits and three runs -- one earned -- over his five-inning outing.

Cody Rogers launched a two-run shot and Sean Rodriguez added a solo blast for the Rays.

David Price lasted four scoreless innings, yielding just one hit while fanning six.
