Recap: Detroit vs. Atlanta

Lakeland, FL (Sports Network) - Ryan Raburn's grand slam and solo home run helped the Detroit Tigers dominate the Atlanta Braves, 18-3, in Grapefruit League play.

The Tigers hit nine home runs in all, including shots from Alex Avila and Prince Fielder. Max Scherzer (1-0) gave up three hits and a walk over two innings in the start.

Ernesto Mejia hit an RBI triple in the loss for the Braves. Randall Delgado (0-1) gave up four runs on two hits with two walks in just one inning of action. Julio Teheran allowed six of the home runs.
