Recap: Atlanta vs. St. Louis

Lake Buena Vista, FL (Sports Network) - Matt Carpenter hit a two-run homer and Carlos Beltran added a solo shot as St. Louis nipped Atlanta, 4-3, in Grapefruit League play.

Yadier Molina added two hits and drove in the other run for the defending champions, who got five innings of two-hit, one-run ball from starter Lance Lynn.

Freddie Freeman went 2-for-4 with an RBI and Brian McCann hit a solo homer for the Braves.

Randall Delgado was charged in the loss for three hits and two runs with five strikeouts and three walks over five full frames.
