Recap: Atlanta vs. Houston

Lake Buena Vista, FL (Sports Network) - The Braves scored three first-inning runs and then held on to defeat the Astros, 3-1, in spring training play on Friday.

Jack Wilson began the scoring with an RBI double, Freddie Freeman doubled in Wilson, and Jason Heyward hit a sacrifice fly to plate Freeman in the frame.

Atlanta starter Jair Jurrjens escaped a based-loaded, one-out jam in the first and eventually tossed seven innings. He gave up one run on five hits while striking out four.

Houston's Kyle Weiland struck out five but gave up three runs on five hits in a six-inning start. Chris Snyder homered to account for the Astros' lone run.
