Lake Buena Vista, FL (Sports Network) - Jhonny Peralta hit a solo home run and Miguel Cabrera drove in a run as the Detroit Tigers defeated the Atlanta Braves, 2-1, in spring training action.

Austin Jackson had a hit and scored a run for Detroit, which got six innings of one-run ball from starter Justin Verlander. He struck out five.

Dan Uggla smacked a double and drove in the lone run for Atlanta. Starter Tommy Hanson allowed two runs on five hits.
