Recap: Miami vs. St. Louis

Jupiter, FL (Sports Network) - Alex Cora ripped an RBI single as part of a two-run second inning and the St. Louis Cardinals edged the Miami Marlins, 2-1, in Grapefruit League play on Friday.

Koyie Hill scored the other run and Lance Berkman contributed two doubles for the Cardinals, Starter Adam Wainwright continued his strong play after missing all of 2011, throwing five scoreless innings while giving up three hits. Wainwright has yet to allow an earned run this spring in three starts.

Jose Reyes accounted for the Marlins' only run with a solo homer in the eighth inning and starter Carlos Zambrano gave up two runs on five hits while walking four in 4 1/3 innings of work.

Dorm Report: West Virginia goes wild, not so wonderful

There was quite a bit of hitting on the field at Milan Puskar Stadium last weekend, but almost as much action took place in the streets just outside in the hours following West Virginia's upset of visiting Baylor.
