Jupiter, FL (Sports Network) - Ricky Nolasco surrendered nine hits in 6 1/3 innings -- but just one run -- and the Marlins beat the Nationals, 3-1, in spring training on Tuesday.

Miami scored all of its runs off Washington starter and offseason acquisition Gio Gonzalez in the first inning. Gaby Sanchez hit an RBI single and Austin Kearns stroked a two-run double.

The Nationals, who out-hit the Marlins 11-8, got their only run in the sixth on Roger Bernadina's single.
