Recap: Detroit vs. NY Mets

Lakeland, FL (Sports Network) - Quintin Berry's RBI single in the 10th inning lifted the Detroit Tigers to a 7-6 win over the New York Mets in Grapefruit League play.

Prince Fielder went 3-for-3 with a two-run home run and Delmon Young added two hits and two RBI for the Tigers. Max Scherzer started on the mound and gave up three runs on four hits with two walks over 2 2/3 innings.

Jordany Valdespin had two hits, an RBI and a run scored for the Mets. Dillon Gee lasted four innings in the start, giving up two runs on three hits with a walk and five strikeouts.

Orioles' Matusz ejected for substance on arm

Baltimore Orioles reliever Brian Matusz became the second major league pitcher in three days to be ejected from a game for having a foreign substance on his arm.

Hawks' Korver out for postseason

If the Atlanta Hawks are going to erase a 2-0 deficit in their Eastern Conference Finals series against the Cleveland Cavaliers, they will have to do it without one of the NBA's best shooters.
