Recap: NY Mets vs. Detroit

Port St. Lucie, FL (Sports Network) - Delmon Young had two hits, knocked in two runs and scored twice as the Detroit Tigers downed the New York Mets, 9-0, on Friday.

Omir Santos also had two RBI for the Tigers, while Rick Porcello allowed four hits while striking out three batters through a four-inning start.

Johan Santana gave up five runs -- four earned -- on four hits and two walks in 2 2/3 innings for the Mets.
