Recap: NY Mets vs. St. Louis

Port St. Lucie, FL (Sports Network) - The St. Louis Cardinals and the New Yok Mets played a 6-6 tie on Saturday in Grapefruit League action.

David Descalso and Jon Jay knocked in two runs apiece, while Yadier Molina and Mark Hamilton also drove in runs for the Cardinals. Starter Lance Lynn was tagged for four runs on three hits in 4 2/3 innings.

Ike Davis roped a three-run homer and Lucas Duda added a solo shot and Ronny Cedeno also knocked in a run for the Mets. Starter Mike Pelfrey gave up five runs -- four earned -- on eight hits over six full frames.
