Recap: St. Louis vs. NY Mets

Jupiter, FL (Sports Network) - Ruben Tejada's two-run double highlighted a five-run seventh inning for the Mets, and New York earned a 6-3 decision over the St. Louis Cardinals in spring training action on Monday.

Justin Turner belted an RBI double while Vinny Rottino and Josh Thole each knocked in a run apiece in the seventh. Johan Santana went five innings in the start, giving up two runs on four hits and three walks.

Matt Holliday smacked an RBI single in the first inning and Carlos Beltran finished with two hits and also scored a run for the Cardinals. Jake Westbrook took the loss, yielding three runs on four hits over 6 1/3 innings of work.
