Recap: Detroit vs. Minnesota

Lakeland, FL (Sports Network) - Luke Hughes launched a three-run home run and Joe Benson belted a two-run blast to help the Twins defeat the Tigers, 7-3, in spring training.

Chris Parmelee tripled in a run and Ryan Doumit knocked in another Minnesota. Starter Liam Hendriks gave up two runs on four hits while striking out two and walking none in four innings.

Andy Oliver walked five and was tagged for three runs on two hits in a 3 2/3 inning start. Delmon Young homered in a losing effort.

Orioles' Matusz ejected for substance on arm

Baltimore Orioles reliever Brian Matusz became the second major league pitcher in three days to be ejected from a game for having a foreign substance on his arm.

Hawks' Korver out for postseason

If the Atlanta Hawks are going to erase a 2-0 deficit in their Eastern Conference Finals series against the Cleveland Cavaliers, they will have to do it without one of the NBA's best shooters.
