Recap: Chicago WSox vs. Chicago Cubs

Glendale, AZ (Sports Network) - Edgar Gonzalez hit a two-run home run in the second inning to help the Chicago Cubs take a 5-1 win over the Chicago White Sox in spring training action.

Marlon Byrd and Steve Clevenger each hit a solo home run in the win for the Cubs. Travis Wood (1-0) gave up one run on three hits with two walks over 2 1/3 innings of starting work.

Alex Rios drove in the lone run for the White Sox. Chris Sale (0-1) gave up three runs on three hits with a walk and four strikeouts over three innings in the start.
