Recap: Chicago WSox vs. San Diego

Glendale, AZ (Sports Network) - Chase Headley crushed a two-run home run and drove in four runs, as San Diego buried the Chicago White Sox, 13-2, in Cactus League action.

Daniel Robertson drove in three runs and Jason Bartlett finished 2-for-4 with two runs batted in for the Padres, which put up 10 runs in the seventh and eighth frames. Andy Parrino finished 3-for-5 with two runs scored and two driven in for San Diego.

Edison Volquez won his second game of the spring with seven solid frames, surrendering two runs on five hits with two strikeouts and three walks.

Dylan Axelrod suffered the loss, giving up three runs on eight hits with four strikeouts and three walks over 5 2/3 frames. A.J. Pierzynski hit an RBI triple and scored a run in defeat.
