Surprise, AZ (Sports Network) - Alex Gordon hit a two-run homer and scored twice as the Kansas City Royals took a 7-2 win over the Chicago White Sox in Cactus League play.

Eric Hosmer had two hits, two RBI and a run scored while Alcides Escobar added two hits and two runs scored in the win for the Royals.

Starter Sean O'Sullivan gave up just one walk with two strikeouts over five hitless innings.

A.J. Pierzynski drove in a run in the loss for the White Sox while Eric Stults was touched for three runs -- two earned -- on five hits over four innings in the start.
