Recap: Kansas City vs. Texas

Surprise, AZ (Sports Network) - Kevin Kouzmanoff's two-run double in the ninth inning helped the Kansas City Royals take a 7-6 win over the Texas Rangers.

Alex Gordon hit a two-run home run while Derrick Robinson also drove in two runs for the Royals. Bruce Chen was torched for five runs -- four earned -- on seven hits in just 1 2/3 innings.

Elvis Andrus went 3-for-3 with an RBI and three runs scored while Adrian Beltre added three hits, three RBI and a run scored for the Rangers. Derek Holland was touched for a run on three hits in two innings.
