Recap: Milwaukee vs. Kansas City

Maryvale, AZ (Sports Network) - Eric Hosmer belted two home runs and finished with four RBI as the Kansas City Royals edged the Milwaukee Brewers, 9-7, in Cactus League action on Tuesday.

Yuniesky Betancourt and Mike Moustakas had solo home runs, while Max Ramirez added a two-run shot for the Royals. Starter Bruce Chen picked up the win after tossing six-plus innings while giving up three runs on seven hits and striking out six.

Alex Gonzalez cracked a two-run homer, while Mat Gamel added a solo shot for the Brewers. Starter Yovani Gallardo gave up four runs on six hits over five full frames.

Orioles' Matusz ejected for substance on arm

Baltimore Orioles reliever Brian Matusz became the second major league pitcher in three days to be ejected from a game for having a foreign substance on his arm.

Hawks' Korver out for postseason
