Recap: Milwaukee vs. Texas

Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - The Milwaukee Brewers were ahead by a score of 6-4 over the Texas Rangers when Sunday's Cactus League game was cancelled due to rain in the fourth inning.

Caleb Gindl went 2-for-2 with an RBI and two runs scored, while Nyjer Morgan also had two hits and scored two runs for the Brewers.

Tyler Thornburg allowed two runs on four hits and two walks in 1 2/3 innings as the starter for Milwaukee.

David Murphy and Brad Hawpe each had a two-run home run for the Rangers. Robert Ross allowed four runs -- three earned -- on five hits and a walk in 2 1/3 innings on the mound for Texas.
