Recap: Texas vs. Chicago Cubs

Surprise, AZ (Sports Network) - Three different Cubs hit two-run home runs, including Alfonso Soriano, as Chicago pounded Texas, 11-4, in Cactus League action.

Joe Mather and Brett Jackson each hit a two-run shot while Ian Stewart added a solo homer for the Cubs. Matt Garza gave up three unearned runs on two hits with three walks and three strikeouts over five innings of work.

Adrian Beltre and Brad Hawpe each drove in a run for the Rangers. Colby Lewis was roughed up for six runs on nine hits over five innings.
