Recap: Cincinnati vs. Texas

Goodyear, AZ (Sports Network) - Mat Latos gave up a leadoff homer to Julio Borbon but was otherwise stellar in his start, as the Reds downed the Rangers, 6-2, in spring training play.

Latos wound up going five innings and allowed just four hits after Borbon's blast. Paul Janish knocked in two runs, Dioner Navarro belted a solo home run and Devin Mesoraco had two doubles and a run scored for the victors.

Texas starter Scott Feldman gave up two runs on eight hits in 4 1/3 innings.
