Recap: Texas vs. Cincinnati

Surprise, AZ (Sports Network) - Ian Kinsler hit a two-run homer in the second inning and the Rangers downed the Reds, 12-2, in Monday's spring training matchup.

Nelson Cruz and Mitch Moreland had three RBI apiece and Josh Hamilton hit a two-run double for Texas. David Murphy and Yorvit Torrealba each drove in a run while Scott Feldman went six scoreless innings for the win. He allowed just three hits, did not issue a walk and struck out nine.

Juan Francisco hit a two-run, ninth-inning home run for Cincinnati while Jeff Francis suffered the loss, allowing 11 runs on 11 hits in three innings.

Smith replaces Larson for Martinsville race

Regan Smith substituted for Kyle Larson in the No. 42 Chip Ganassi Racing Chevrolet in Sunday's Sprint Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway after Larson was sidelined due to additional medical tests following his fainting spell on Saturday.
