Recap: Texas vs. San Diego

Surprise, AZ (Sports Network) - Joey Butler tied the game with an RBI triple in the bottom of the ninth, and scored two pitches later when Alex Hinshaw uncorked a wild pitch, giving the Rangers a 10-9 victory over the Padres in spring training action on Tuesday.

Matt Clark drove in the tying run in the top of the ninth and Yasmani Grandal added a solo shot in the frame to give the Padres a 9-8 lead.

Mike Napoli finished with two home runs and three runs scored and Adrian Beltre knocked in three runs for the Rangers. Robert Ross made the start, allowing two runs on four hits and a walk over two innings of work.

Jeremy Hermida went deep twice for the Padres, while Jedd Gyorko blasted a two-run homer and Andy Parrino added a solo shot. Corey Luebke yielded five runs on eight hits over 4 1/3 innings as the starter.
