Surprise, AZ (Sports Network) - Adrian Beltre doubled in a run in the first and scored on David Murphy's two-run single later in the inning, helping Texas to a 5-3 spring training win over San Diego.

Beltre added an RBI single in the second for the Rangers, who got four innings out of starter Colby Lewis. He gave up five hits and a pair of runs while fanning four.

Padres starter Cory Luebke gave up six hits and five runs over two frames.

Jesus Guzman and Matt Clark belted solo homers in defeat.
