Recap: Toledo vs. Detroit

Toledo, OH (Sports Network) - Ryan Rayburn and Aaron Westlake both knocked in two runs to help the Detroit Tigers get past the Toledo Mud Hens, 8-3, in an exhibition game.

Delmon Young went 2-for-2 with an RBI and two runs scored and 13 different Tigers recorded a hit in the win over their Triple-A affiliate.

Rick Porcello picked up the win despite serving up seven hits and three runs over 4 2/3 innings.

Wilsen Palacios went the rest of the way, holding Toledo to one hit and two walks while striking out three in a 4 1/3-inning save.

The Tigers will open the regular season Thursday at home against the Boston Red Sox.
