Recap: Boston vs. LA Angels

Boston, MA (Sports Network) - Friday's series opener between the Angels and Red Sox at Fenway Park has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The contest will be made up as part of a day-night doubleheader on Saturday, with the first game slated to begin at 1:05 p.m ET and the second scheduled to start at 7:15 p.m.

Felix Doubront was supposed to take the hill for Boston against LA's Tommy Hanson on Friday, but neither club has provided information if that will be the matchup for Saturday's early game. The nightcap was scheduled to feature Sox ace Clay Buchholz against C.J. Wilson.

Tropical Storm Andrea is making its way up the East Coast and also washed out Washington's game against the Minnesota Twins.
