Recap: Chicago WSox vs. Chicago Cubs

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Tuesday's conclusion of a brief two-game set between the Chicago White Sox and Chicago Cubs at U.S. Cellular Field has been postponed due to a forecast of rain throughout the evening.

No makeup date has been announced, though the teams are scheduled to face off on Wednesday and Thursday at Wrigley Field.

Welington Castillo clubbed a two-run homer in the second inning to give the Cubs a 2-0 lead against White Sox starter Chris Sale, but the heavy rains forced play to be halted with one out in the bottom of the third.

Edwin Jackson started for the Cubs and allowed just one hit over 2 1/3 frames.

No stats count from the contest, as it will be restarted from the beginning when a makeup date is announced.
