Recap: Colorado vs. Arizona

Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Matt Davidson hit a three-run homer and had four RBI to lead the Arizona Diamondbacks to a 13-9 win over the Colorado Rockies on Sunday.

"I'm trying to keep it the same game that it was in the minor leagues and no matter what the situation is take the same approach," Davidson said.

Gerardo Parra, Chris Owings and Adam Eaton each drove in a pair of runs, while Paul Goldschmidt, Willie Bloomquist and A.J. Pollock added one RBI apiece for the Diamondbacks, who won the season series 12-7.

Will Harris (4-1) earned the win after getting the final two outs in the fifth. Starter Patrick Corbin allowed four runs on 10 hits over 4 1/3 innings.

Todd Helton went 3-for-5 with four RBI and Michael Cuddyer had three hits and drove in a run for the Rockies.

Juan Nicasio (8-9) allowed seven runs on seven hits in just 2 1/3 innings to absorb the loss.

"I think particularly with the time he's missed the last couple years, this is a heavy workload for him," Rockies manager Walt Weiss said of Nicasio

Arizona scored four runs in the second and three in the third to jump out to an early 7-0 lead. With two on, Parra laced a double to center to score Aaron Hill. Owings followed with a double to left to bring Miguel Montero and Parra around before scoring on Eaton's suicide squeeze.

Goldschmidt doubled home Pollock in the third then scored on Davidson's double to left. Parra singled home Montero later in the frame.

Cuddyer's RBI single in the third got Colorado on the board.

The Rockies added one run in the fourth and two in the fifth to pull within 7-4.

In the fourth, Yorvit Torrealba roped a single up the middle to plate Helton.

In the fifth, Helton doubled home Troy Tulowitzki and Charlie Culberson to make it a three-run game.

Pollock, though, doubled to left to bring Owings around, but Ryan Wheeler added an RBI single in the eighth made it 8-5.

The D'backs scored five runs in the ninth to put it out of reach. Davidson cracked a three-run homer to get things started. Bloomquist added an RBI triple before scoring on Eaton's sacrifice fly.
